Hanne is a twenty-something living in a small apartment in the city, trying to make ends meet on the salary she earns from a job she hates. Then she gets word that she has inherited a vacation home in the Ardennes.

When the "vacation home" turns out to be a large villa with a gigantic garden, she has no idea what to do with such a house. Until her mother convinces her to start a bed and breakfast. Together they move to the Ardennes and try to build a new life and a business. But not everyone sees them coming. 

Hanne does everything she can to win the respect of the locals and especially then of that very handsome handyman.
