Love in times of denial

Anna De Jong, librarian, and Peter Claes, orthopedist at UZ Leuven, first meet in the prison library. When Peter is released, Anna feels lost. The love she has felt for him from the beginning just won't go away. His departure turns her whole life upside down.
Outside the prison walls, Peter is trying to get his life back together. This proves more difficult than expected, especially when something happens that will change his entire future. The bitter feeling he suffered in prison does not leave him and makes him realize that Anna only wanted to help him. Will Peter manage to talk to Anna about the poignant event? Will the future offer new opportunities?

Love in Times of Denial is the stand-alone sequel to Love in Times of Murder, the short story Claudia Vanzegbroeck wrote for the collection Valentine with Two.
