Emmelie Arents

A go-getter with creativity and many dreams

Meet

Emmelie Arents

Young Adult Author

Everyone in her immediate (and distant) circle knows Emmelie as the musical girl with the book in her hand. Since her early childhood, the real world has been secondary to what her imagination has to offer her. She likes to spend time alone, thinking about the things that still lurk unwritten in her mind.

She prefers to write at home, in a quiet place and in the company of her cat Toulouse. You will also find her there behind the piano, or with a book in her hand. She loves Middle Earth, chocolate, the smell of books, old things, the sound of rain, libraries, notebooks and cats.

In addition to writing, Emmelie is also a member of the band Solitude Within and works part-time in Brussels.
