Reflection time/return

It can sometimes happen that you want to return an order. Perhaps because you do not like the product or maybe there is another reason why you do not want the order. Whatever the reason, you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason.

You have another 14 days after cancellation to return your product. You will then be credited the full order amount including shipping costs. Only the return costs from your home to the store are for your own account. These costs are approximately 7.25 per package, for the exact rates please consult the website of your carrier. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to the entrepreneur with all delivered accessories and - if reasonably possible - in its original condition and packaging. To exercise this right, please contact us at contact. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of notification of your return provided the product has already been received back in good order.

Should the product be damaged or the packaging damaged more than necessary to try the product, we may pass this depreciation of the product on to you. So please treat the product with care and make sure it is properly packaged when returning it.

Provided a wrong delivery address by mistake? Please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to change the order for you.

Delivery time & shipping costs

We carefully do our best to deliver the order to you as soon as possible. However, we do not always succeed, sometimes products are not in stock and then the delivery of your order may take a little longer. On the product page is an indication of the delivery time. If for any reason we do not meet this delivery time, we will of course inform you as soon as possible. We count on a maximum delivery time of 5 working days.

After an order is shipped, we cannot be held responsible for the delivery and it is our partner Bpost who handles the shipment.

 

If you do not receive anything after 7 business days, you have the right to cancel the order and you will be refunded for the full amount. You must prove that the shipment has not been received. Deliveries are received if the delivery is on 'delivered' with our partner Bpost. 

Prices listed do not include shipping costs. When checking out, choose the shipping method that suits you best

Delivery is made via Bpost's letter carrier or parcel delivery service. Generally, delivery will take place the next working day between 9:00 and 18:00. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the time of delivery.

Warranty & Complaints

We care about our products and logically do our best to deliver them to you in top condition. Nevertheless, it sometimes happens that an order breaks down during transport or that something else happens as a result of which you can claim warranty. Legally, you are required to report the defect to us within two months of discovering it. If the defect falls within the warranty, we will take care of repair or replacement free of charge.

It is always possible that something does not go quite as planned. We recommend that you first report complaints to us by emailing info@hamleybooks.be. As of February 15, 2016, it is also possible for consumers in the EU to file complaints through the European Commission's ODR platform. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. If your complaint is not already being processed elsewhere, you are free to file your complaint through the European Union platform.

We will try to address your complaint within 14 days.

 

Should we still not come to an agreement, then the consumer can contact SafeShops. SafeShops.be will mediate between the consumer and the seller if the complaint is justified.
