Blue Honey

Blue honey and other stories is a first collection of short stories by journalist Stef Van Overstraeten (40). Five stories about living life to the fullest, about survival, dying and all-consuming loves. A Strip of Sunlight is about how a stalker affects a new relationship. In a trip to the Tour, two reporters go spinning in the wake of the greatest cycling race. However, a death occurs. A young woman with an extraordinary illness makes the main character's heart beat faster in Until I Couldn't Dance No More. Bella Donna gives a face to jealousy, incomprehension and disappointment in Sicily, a paradise for Flemish exiles. And finally, Blue Honey is a story about a young man who seems to have found the hole in the drug market.

Van Overstraeten writes in a direct style, often with a humorous undertone. Some of his stories have already appeared in collections at Books & Butterflies.
