Levy and the white wonder box

There it is. In the street. A small, white, shiny box. Before Levy can figure out that you should never just pick up anything off the street, it's already in her pocket. It helps her get through the day. An ordinary school day, with sums she does wrong because she thought about something else for a moment. With the voices of the children around her. The voices that say she can't do anything. Those shouting, and cursing. Invariably, she then puts her hand for a moment around the box that feels like a smooth chestnut. What could it be?

Then strange things start happening. She gets a weird message on the computer at her father's house. And a weird text message on the phone she got from her mother, for when Levy is with her father. After a strange encounter, Levy figures out how to open the box. And how it can help her.
