Fatal choices

When her roommate Lisa wants to reconnect with her criminal father after more than 20 years, police intern Emily has plenty of reasons to hold back. Yet she fails to contain her curiosity. After all, Lisa's father turns out to be a violent man with a debated past.

After a dramatic event, Emily is plagued by guilt. While her colleagues figure out exactly what happened, Emily resists her senses by delving into an old file about a woman who apparently committed suicide.
