Fleur has had it all! She works for a sucker of a boss, her love life is non-existent and, to make matters worse, she is constantly being pushed around by her meddlesome mother who never misses an opportunity to remind her to make something of her life. When her brother suggests that she go and help out for a while at the husky farm of Lukas, a friend of his, she declares him crazy. What does she know about huskies? And that in the icy cold of Lapland. And what about her job?
When she makes an embarrassing discovery one day, it's all over for Fleur. She decides to quit her job and accept her brother's proposal. Once in Lapland, the outside temperature is not the only thing that drops below freezing. Lukas' welcome is also far from warm. Is he even waiting for her arrival?
Slowly but surely Fleur gets used to the freezing temperatures and Lukas also slowly but surely thaws out. Will Fleur find more in the far north than she expected?
