Office Candy - Sandra J. Paul

Lisa Smeets is a freelance designer starting a new assignment at a somewhat dull company. After losing her previous assignment in bad circumstances, she is very nervous about returning to work in the office for the first time in months.
Her fears seem to be realized when she soon discovers that the company does have very strict conditions about the use of the Internet and social media. Moreover, her manager Machteld and her boring colleagues do not exactly resemble the hip group of young people she worked with before.
Only her mentor Daniel seems to understand her frustrations and, moreover, shares her fondness for sweets, although he is not her type.
Lisa can't afford to resign her assignment again, so she decides to bring some life into it.
But is that falling into everyone's good graces?

Office Candy is the first part in a three-part series about Lisa, Manon's sister, whom we were introduced to in the Sugar Rush series. And like her sister, Lisa is also a sweet tooth.
