The Book of Dangerous Secrets

The parents of 12-year-old twins Otis and Bo disappear without a trace. The police are puzzled. Otis blames himself for the event.

Weeks later, a certain Francis shows up at the door. He was once their father's colleague, but after a fierce argument all ties were severed. He claims that years ago he was appointed their guardian in case of emergency and immediately moves into the house.

When Otis overhears Francis talking about a special book in his father's library, he is immediately convinced that this is why his parents had to disappear.
