The Falcon and the Flower

Muriel Verhulst wrote the collection "De Valk en de Bloem en andere verhalen," which contains three full-length narratives in different genres.
The title story is about Lena, who ends up in a very strange place from one moment to the next. At first she seems alone in the world, until giant wolves with technological gadgets hunt her down.
'Wolfschimmen' is set in 19th-century Andalusia. Because the villagers no longer believe prankster Emilio, fleeing bandits are able to take advantage of this and make their move. After all the events, the flamenco festival takes on a whole new value in their village.
In "Shadow Slayer," twins Ylva and Roulf are under the protection of the White Wolfess. When Ylva is found unconscious in the forest, it is only the beginning of dark forces that have descended on their village.
Wolves links these three stories into an exciting collection of adventures, in which family and friendship also play an important role.

This collection of stories is her second publication with Books & Butterflies Publishing after "A Trace of Ink and Other Stories.
In December, her "Monster Hunters" will be published in the Flemish Films series.
