Max and his best friend Jonas are two gamers, one night a mysterious guest invades their garden. When they try to follow him, they are sucked into the magical world of Shardhaven, full of strange creatures and powerful spells. The balance of this world is upset by the theft of a magical book.

Max and Jonas are the only ones who can retrieve the book. With help from a stubborn garden gnome, they embark on an exciting quest full of dangers, puzzles and unexpected magical transformations. Will they manage to save Shardhaven before it's too late?
