Exciting
This book is completely different from the two previous books. Those I found rather scary, while here it is mostly an exciting story. Colette finds herself in a certain situation and there her life takes a huge turn. So although I had already read the other two volumes, I also found this book completely....

Sabrina
Colette - The Forgotten Garden
After The Dark School and The Abandoned House, Sandra J. Paul has added a third book to her series, The Forgotten Garden. It can also be read as a separate story, but the 2 first books are definitely recommended reading as well! Meanwhile, already curious about the fourth ...

Books & Me
Heartwarming
What a heartwarming book! A book full of hope. Despite the, for many children, recognizable difficult topics. Like bullying, parental divorce, insecurity and so on.
I do want to make an immediate comment: because of the name Levy, I had it in my head the whole time that it would be a boy. There...

A beautiful and compelling story that addresses important issues!
There it is. In the street. A small, white, shiny box. Before Levy can figure out that you should never just pick up anything off the street, it's already in her pocket. It helps her get through the day. An ordinary school day, with sums she does wrong because she thought about something else for a moment. With the voices of the ki...

A strong sequel
The Abandoned House is a strong juvenile thriller that is well put together and flows very smoothly from its predecessor. Had I not known that this sequel was unplanned and had people tried to make me believe that this was always going to be a sequel series, I would have thought after reading this twe...

Soraya (Soraya's bookshelf)
Reads like watching a movie
Anyone who has read the Rémi series knows what to expect from a book by Lara Reims yet she exceeded my expectations with her children's book Levy and the white wonder box! Not only because of her smooth writing style but also because of the themes she incorporated into her book and the suspense that ...

Super cool!
Levy and the White Wonder Box is a book for the youngsters among us. It reads very smoothly and addresses very important issues. The details in the book are very nice, it is obvious that work was put into the story, the cover as well as the interior.
From me it got 4.5/5!

Danique van der Heide
Nice debut for a children's book
Characters:
The first thing you can say with certainty is that they are very recognizable characters in this day and age. Levy is a girl that a lot of children are going to find themselves in and probably older people as well, her situation of divorced parents and being bullied make it herke...

Lara Reims also scores in youth after YA
I got to know Lara Reims as a debut author when Hamley Books introduced her "Upgrade" to the general public. In the series about Rémi (which, admittedly for Young Adult could count on a lot of acclaim and also received a pretty high score from our editors), we could already see that z...
