Bart De Wolf
Youth author
Bart de Wolf (Antwerp, 1977) has been writing stories about monsters and other horror characters since 2015. His first short story 'The Bra-Ba-Bla' won fifth place in the Fantastels Story Contest and made him realize that there was apparently an audience for his dark writing. In 2018, it even won him the Harland Awards Debut Prize ('A new route is being calculated'). He also likes to write horror poems and then his father makes drawings to go with them. Bart dreams of having a horror poetry picture book in libraries one day! His stories and poems have been published numerous times in genre anthologies and magazines such as Ganymede, SF-Terra, Fantastic Tales, EdgeZero and Vonk Magazine. Nowadays Bart lives with his family just across the border in the Netherlands. In addition to being a horror writer, Bart is also a veterinarian with his own practice in the polder village of Lepelstraat.
