However, it wasn't until she was 43 before she put her first short story on paper. This was an instant hit and was published in the short story collection "On the Edge of Happiness" at Books & Butterflies.
Because of her love of travel, Ellen enjoys taking readers to a wide variety of places.
Ellen is a romantic soul which makes the feelgood genre seem right up her alley.

Ellen behind the scenes

The most important thing for me in the world is my family. I am a mom of two teenage daughters. That combined with a full-time job is quite a challenge. Still, I always manage to make time to pick up the pen and put the stories bubbling in my head on paper.
I love traveling, listening to music, cooking, catching a concert or eating out. In short, you could say I am an epicurean.
My favorite time of day is at night on the couch, under a blanket, with my two girls nestled against me and a book in hand.
