K.T. Sterling

K.T. Sterling (Kathleen Triest) studied criminological sciences at the University of Ghent, but writing is where her greatest passion lies. Since childhood, she has loved writing stories. Upon seeing a movie, she then turned it into a story with magic. Reading, especially fantasy, was her other favorite pastime. 

At nineteen, she got the idea for a book, something that grew into a veritable book series, which is still unfinished. Over the years, she has entered many writing contests. This has earned her some publications in short story collections and a prize. In 2020, her book 'Mermaid tears' released. 

That same year, she and a co-author also self-published the collection of short stories 'Dark secrets' released. Besides writing and reading, she spends a lot of time with her sweet little daughter Alice and on Instagram. She will debut her first fairy tale novella at HamleyBooks in 2022.
