Schrijven is K.T. Sterling’s grootste passie. Van jongs af houdt ze van het schrijven van verhaaltjes. Bij het zien van een film, veranderde ze het daarna in een verhaal met een vleugje magie.

Lezen, vooral fantasy, was haar andere favoriete tijdverdrijf. Op haar negentiende kreeg ze het idee voor zelf een boek te schrijven, iets wat uitgroeide tot een heuse steampunk boekenreeks waar ze momenteel nog volop aan bezig is.

Als ze niet aan het schrijven of lezen is, houdt ze zich bezig met haar dochtertje Alice of zit ze te slurpen van een Latte Macciato Caramel.
