The Hamley family continues to grow

Persbericht Hamley Books maakt vandaag met veel plezier de samenwerking bekend met Nederlands auteur Sophia Drenth. Sophia (1971) woont in de Amsterdamse grachtengordel en is de auteur van de razendpopulaire Bloedwetten-reeks, een fantasyserie waarmee zij veel succes oogst.Zolang Sophia zich kan heugen, verslond zij al avonturen van fantastische en/of historische aard. Het leesvirus sloeg vrij laat toe, toen zij vanaf haar zestiende noodgedwongen thuiszat tijdens een langdurige periode van ziekte. Niet veel later ontstond de drang om zelf de pen ter hand te nemen. Na vele jaren schrijven, publiceren, prijzen winnen en een stoelendans langs geïnteresseerde uitgeverijen, lukte het haar helaas niet om onderdak te vinden voor haar pennenvruchten.
